Reference Services

Librarians are on duty in the Reference Department, located near the south entrance on the first floor.  Contact a librarian for assistance in using the library, doing research, locating information or instructions on using the library databases. 

Please send questions to reference@tamut.edu.  Email service is for faculty, staff and students.  Make sure to include your full name in the email so that we can verify your status. 

The desk is staffed Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Walk-in's are welcomed, and are handled on a first-come-first serve basis.  Making an appointment with a librarian will guarantee faster service.  If you need immediate assistance during those hours, please contact us by telephone at 903-223-3091. For assistance after 5 p.m. or on the weekend call 903-223-3094 or 903-832-5565 ext. 3215.
