Library Cards

All TAMU-T and TC students The current student ID serves as your library card. Upon your first visit to the library each semester, a bar code will be placed on your ID that identifies you in the library's automated system. Books will not be checked out without a current valid ID. All TAMU-T and TC faculty and staff Faculty and staff should present their university or college ID in order to check out library materials. Circulation staff will place a bar code on your ID card which will identify you in the library's automated system. TexShare Cards
TexShare Cards are available to current students,
faculty, and staff of TAMU-T and TC. The TexShare card enables it's
holder to visit and Applications for TexShare Cards can be filled out at the Circulation Desk or students, faculty and staff may fill out this form and return it to the library. A copy of your current ID must accompany the application. TexShare Cards expire at the end of each semester for students. Community Cards
Community members may purchase library cards that give
them check-out privileges of books in the main collection. Community
cards are $50.00, or $25.00 for senior citizens (aged 55 and above), and
expire one year from the date of receipt.
