Access Center

The John F. Moss/Palmer Memorial Library is an Eisenhower National Clearinghouse Access Center for the promotion of K-12 mathematics and science educational materials.  Nationwide there are approximately 150 ENC Access Centers dedicated to strengthening math and science programs in their areas.  ENC collaborates with the Eisenhower Southwest Consortium for the Improvement of Mathematics and Science Teaching (SCIMAST) to provide quality literature and teaching materials for review by educators.

Our goal as an Access Center is to disseminate free resources and provide professional development opportunities to preservice and area teachers.  The library also maintains a permanent collection of ENC materials that are included in our online catalog.

The Access Center is located in the Curriculum Library on the second floor of the library.  The free materials are located on a rack beside the Access Center sign.  All education students and area teachers are encouraged to visit the library and take advantage of the free materials.

In addition to providing free materials, the Access Center also provides kits and other supplemental materials that have been accepted as quality teaching materials for evaluation by teachers.  Those items are on the north wall with an Access Center sign above them.
