Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) -Provides indexing, abstracting, and free full text access for selected international scholarly journals in many subject areas, including agriculture and food science, biology, chemistry, health science, languages and literature, mathematics, physics, engineering, the arts, business, environmental science, history, law, political science, philosophy, religion, and social science. Coverage varies by title (updated continuously).
Dissertations Abstracts - ProQuest Digital Dissertations provides online access to citations and abstracts for every title in the Dissertation Abstracts database. Titles published since 1997 are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews.
Gale Literary Index is a master index to the major literature products published by Gale. It combines and cross-references over 157,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and listings for over 210,000 titles into one source. It is a electronic index for the gale literature books found in the reference section of the library. Check the EAGLIT for the call numbers for titles.
Humanities International Complete - provides full text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources from around the world. Produced by Whitston Publishing (an imprint of EBSCO Publishing), this database includes all data from Humanities International Index (over 2,000 titles and 2 million records) plus unique full text content, much of which is not found in other databases. The database includes full text for more than 770 journals.
JSTOR - The JSTOR archive holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, some dating as far back as the 1600s. Literary Reference Center (LRC) is a comprehensive literary reference database, which provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day. LRC is a completely full-text database that combines information from over 1,000 books and monographs, major literary encyclopedias and reference works, hundreds of literary journals, and unique sources not available anywhere else. LRC contains detailed information on the most studied authors and their works and is an essential resource for public, academic and high school libraries.
MLA (Modern Language Association) -Produced by the Modern Language Association of America, the MLA International Bibliography indexes critical scholarship on literature, language, linguistics and folklore. Coverage includes journal articles, series, monographs, dissertations, bibliographies, proceedings and other materials. Ulrichsweb.com A valuable source for tracking items that are published on a regular basis, such as consumer and trade magazines, scholarly journals, newsletters, newspapers, and monographic series and electronic publication. Each record is highly detailed, showing a full description of the periodical, alternative formats of the periodical, publisher and ordering information, and reviews.
Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition is a multi-disciplinary database providing the complete content - indexing, abstracts, and full text - from six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education, General Science, Humanities , Readers' Guide , Social Sciences, and Wilson Business; plus five additional periodical databases: Applied Science & Technology , Art , Biological & Agricultural Index, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and Library Literature & Information Science. Indexing begins in 1982, abstracts in 1984, and full-text coverage in 1994.
