The
AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive
is an electronic library containing The AP's current year's photo reports
and a selection of photos from their 50 million image print and negative
library. The Multimedia Archive also includes graphics, text and audio - all
from The Associated Press.
AGRICOLA - (Produced by the National Agricultural Library) indexes more
than 2,000 serial titles as well as books, pamphlets, conference
proceedings, research reports, government documents, monographs, theses,
patents, software, audiovisual content, and microforms pertaining to all
aspects of agriculture. AGRICOLA contains citations to approximately 2
million records, both in English and non-English, with over 100,000 records
added annually.
The Biography Resource Center
is a comprehensive database of biographical information on more than 185,000
people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines
and subject areas. It contains approximately 250,000 biographies from
respected Gale Group sources. The database also includes full-text articles
from nearly 250 periodicals. Book Review Digest is produced by The H. W. Wilson Company, is a bibliographic database that cites and provides excerpts of reviews of current English-language fiction and nonfiction books for children and adults. An abstract of each book is also provided. Periodical coverage includes leading magazines from the United States, Canada and Great Britain.
Books in Print.com Find title,
author, ISBN number( a unique number for the book) and publisher information
for over 3.4 million books, along with 600,000 full text reviews of many of
these books. Give the information to a librarian for easy ordering for their
collection or through interlibrary loan. One can also search by "Children's
Room" to find age and reading level specific books, cassettes and videos; or
search "In the Media," which allows one to browse titles mentioned on such
popular media as Oprah Book Club, Today Show, and National Public Radio.
Business and Company Resource Center
- Find dynamic and up-to-date company and industry intelligence of more than
300,000 companies. Displays company profiles, including parent/sibling
relationships, industry rankings, products and brands, current investment
ratings, and financial ratios and much more. Find contact information for a
company in your area using the geographic location search option.
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health) - database provides
authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied
health disciplines. Includes over 950 English-language journals as well as
healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings,
standards of professional practice, and educational software. Communication & Mass Media Complete provides the most robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. This database originated with the acquisition and subsequent merging of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association (NCA)), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State University). EBSCO has combined the extensive coverage of these two resources, and has greatly expanded upon them (both in terms of content and scope) to create CMMC. In addition, Communication & Mass Media Complete offers full text for over 200 titles and contains citation coverage for additional sources.
CQ Electronic Library The CQ Researcher Online
is the award-winning choice of researchers seeking original, comprehensive
reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Controversial topics addressed
in a balanced, unbiased manner in the CQ tradition. The CQ Weekly is
your complete source for expert coverage of the U.S. Congress: status of
bills, votes and amendments, floor and committee activity, and backroom
maneuvering.
Criminal Justice Abstracts - contains comprehensive coverage of
international journals, books, reports, dissertations, and unpublished
papers on criminology and related disciplines. The database
contains indexes and summaries of international journal articles, books, and
governmental and non-governmental reports on virtually any topic in criminal
justice.
Criminal
Justice Periodicals Index (CJPI) Proquest's CJPI can provide
information on virtually any criminal justice topic. The database offers ASCII text,
image, and Text+Graphics coverage for about 50 of the titles most frequently
accessed by criminal justice researchers. CJPI also include complete
indexing and abstracts for another 140 relevant U.S. and international
journals. This is updated weekly. D&B's North American Million Dollar Database provides the information professional, marketer and sales executive with information on U.S. and Canadian leading public and private businesses. Company information includes industry information with up to 24 individual 8-digit SICs, size criteria (employees and annual sales), type of ownership, principal executives and biographies.
Dissertations Abstracts ProQuest Digital
Dissertations provides online access to citations and abstracts for every
title in the Dissertation Abstracts database. Titles published since 1997
are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews.
eLibrary This database provides
a wealth of information from such diverse areas as books, television shows,
newspapers, maps, and photograph collections. Full text articles from
popular reference books such as Frommer's travel guides, American History
textbooks, World Almanac, World Encyclopedia and international business
textbooks. Newspapers and magazines from the United States, Africa, Asia,
and Europe are also included. Also included in the mix are transcripts from
such favorite television shows as 60 minutes, Good Morning America, CNN
news, Fox News, and several National Public Radio Stations. Eighteenth Century Collections Online a comprehensive digital edition of The Eighteenth Century, the world’s largest library of the printed book on microfilm, available through its imprint Primary Source Microfilm™. In the most ambitious single digitization project ever undertaken, nearly 150,000 English-language titles and editions published between 1701 and 1800 will be made available online over the course of the next two years. When complete, the product will allow full-text searching of more than 33 million pages of material, in essence, every significant English-language and foreign-language title printed in the United Kingdom, along with thousands of important works from the Americas.

ASAP – Provides coverage through 2600 indexed and 1400 full-text titles.
Over 1400 of these titles are peer-reviewed. Expanded Academic ASAP serves
the research needs of students, faculty, and graduate researchers.

GPO Access is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office that provides
free electronic access to a wealth of important information products
produced by the Federal Government. The information provided on this site is
the official, published version and the information retrieved from GPO
Access can be used without restriction, unless specifically noted. This free
service is funded by the Federal Depository Library Program and has grown
out of Public Law 103-40, known as the Government Printing Office Electronic
Information Enhancement Act of 1993.
History
Resource Center: Access both American and World history information. Modern World

the history curriculum for the 20th Century, and seamlessly integrates

Universe lets you find all statistics
issued by the U.S. government back to 1973 through CIS' American Statistics

Index. There are approximately 2,000 indispensable titles from some 100
international intergovernmental organizations, all published annually since
1983 through CIS' Index to International Statistics.
MagillOn Literature Plus This database Contains Magill on Literature and
Magill On Authors. MagillOnLiterate database is the definitive, online
source for editorially reviewed critical analyses. This database also
includes brief plot summaries of the most studied works in the history of
literature. It contains all of Masterplots and

Mergent Online
is a subscription-based service offering over 10,000+ U.S. public companies. -- Formerly known as
Moody's Financial Information Services. Mergent has been publishing
detailed business descriptions, corporate histories and financial statements
since 1900.
The MLA Directory of Periodicals offers detailed information on over
7,100 journals, with 4,400 currently indexed in the International
Bibliography. The detailed entries include editorial contact information, as
well as frequency, circulation, subscription prices and submission
guidelines.
MLA International Bibliography is a bibliography of journal articles,
books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the
electronic version of the Bibliography dates back to 1963 and contains over
1.5 million citations from more than 4,400 journals and series and 1,000
book publishers.
netLibrary - is the most comprehensive collection of online books
(e-Books) available. Using netLibrary, you can access a wide range of
scholarly and reference materials entirely online. With netLibrary you can

PsycINFO Plus Text databases cover the professional and academic
literature in psychology and related disciplines including medicine,
psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology,
linguistics, and other areas. Covering more than 1,500 leading
psychological, psychiatric, and related publications, PsychINFO PlusText is
designed for both undergraduate and graduate level academic institutions and
their libraries.
PubMed – National Library Medicine's (NLM) search service to access the
9 million citations in MEDLINE and Pre-MEDLINE, and other related
databases. Readex has embarked on a series of projects to create a digital Archive of Americana by combining searchable text and digital images with Internet delivery. From the formative years of the American nation to its more recent history, this robust resource provides students and scholars with a treasure trove of primary source material. Collections are "Early American Imprints, Series I. Evans (1639-1800), based on Charles Evans' historic “American Bibliography.” The collection has long served as a foundation set for research involving early American history, literature, philosophy, religion, and more. Early American Imprints, Series II. Science Direct - was first launched in 1997 as an online host facility
for Elsevier Science's full text journals, Science Direct has grown to
become the largest online full text platform for scientific, technical and
medical information. It is based on the World Wide Web, and now offers the
full text of over 1,100 journals. Desktop access to information is provided
via institutional library subscriptions.

Each record is highly detailed, showing a full description of the

Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition is a multi-disciplinary database
providing the complete content - indexing, abstracts, and full text - from
six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education, General Science, Humanities
, Readers' Guide , Social Sciences, and Wilson Business; plus five
additional periodical databases: Applied Science & Technology , Art ,
Biological & Agricultural Index, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and
Library Literature & Information Science. Indexing begins in 1982,
abstracts in 1984, and full-text coverage in 1994. Each database has
its own start dates for indexing, abstracting, and full text; start dates
for full-text rights to individual journals vary within a database.
